Júlio César Magro is a highly experienced Sr. System Engineer in Optical/IP Networks with over 25 years of experience in IT and Telecommunications. He has worked in various areas including Pre-sales, product marketing, consulting, customer training, and research & development. Julio has been engaged for more than a decade in pre-sales, product marketing, network design and planning, network integration, and customer relationship management in many different carriers and utilities in CALA. He has also spent more than six years of his career in customer training, material development, lab setup, and teaching. Julio has in-depth knowledge and experience in optical systems and networks such as DWDM, OTN, SDH, PDH, MPLS-TP, amplifiers, regenerators, transponders, ROADM, Mux/Demux, and protection systems. He has also worked with GPON systems and network, data network, VoIP, and instructor Cisco Networking Academy CCNA: Switching, Routing, and Wireless Essentials, CCNA Cybersecurity Operations, and Network Security. He is also a Microsoft Certified professional in Azure Fundamentals and AI Fundamentals. Currently, Julio is working as a Pedagogical Supervisor in Computer Engineering at UNIVESP. Previously, he has worked as a Sr. System Engineer in Optical/IP Networks; Manager and Distance Learning Content Professor at Descomplica College and Sr. Consultant in Optical/IP Networks at CPqD | MOESP. He has also been an instructor at Cisco Networking Academy. Julio holds a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering from the Universidade Estadual de Campinas, where he studied voice quality in IP networks. He also has a specialization in Networks from the Universidade de São Paulo and an undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering from the same university. Julio is an effective member of the Brazilian Society of Optics and Photonics, SBFoton, and has excellent interpersonal skills, good customer relationships, industry knowledge, and commitment to results.
